Project narrative

On August 4, 2022, the Chinese Consulate in Dubai gifted 1,000 books to the Mohammed bin Rashid Library (MBR Library). The content of the books consisted of Chinese cultural and artistic topics and children's stories. In addition, the Consulate set up a physical Chinese Book Corner. Consul-General Li Xuhang and Dr. Mohammed Salem Al Mazrouei, a member of the MBR Library's Board of Trustees, attended the donation ceremony, which included Chinese zither, tea, and calligraphy activities. The MBR Library declared August 8 to be 'Chinese reading day'.
