Project narrative

On March 12, 2020, China sent a team of nine medical experts to Italy to support its COVID-19 pandemic response. The team was organized by China's National Health Commission and the Red Cross Society of China. They departed from Shanghai on a China Eastern Airlines A350 aircraft and landed in Rome on March 12, bringing a donation of 700 pieces of medical equipment with them (as captured by Record ID#98952).
