Project narrative

On March 19, 2020, Chongqing Municipal Government donated 180,000 face masks to the Italian Red Cross in a handover ceremony located at Chongqing Tongjunge Logistics Co. in China. On March 21, the masks were sent to the Italian Embassy in China. The Italian Consulate in Chongqing mailed the donation to Italy on or after March 25, 2020 on a plane operated by the Italian Civil Protection department. The donation consisted of 150,000 medical surgical masks and 30,000 FFP2 masks.
