Project narrative

Between April 8th and 10th, Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Qi Zhenhong donated food packages to 10,000 needy families across Sri Lanka on behalf of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. These packages were handed over to officials from the People's Front Party, the United National Forces, and the Liberal Party. From there the packages will be distributed to families in need. At the handover ceremonies, the ambassador highlighted the growing friendship between the two countries and the two anniversary celebrations happening this year, the 70th anniversary of the "Rice Rubber Agreement" and the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
