On June 3, 2022, the first batch of approximately 512,640 domestic enoxaparin sodium injections worth RMB 10 million arrived in Colombo. This batch contains 256,320 syringes of the medicine. Present at the arrival were the Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Qi Zhenhong and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health of Sri Lanka Chandra Gupta. Two additional batches were delivered on June 25 and June 27. On June 30, 2022, a handover ceremony for the three batches of medicine, totaling to 510,000 doses was held. This project is part of CIDCA's 500 million RMB humanitarian package to Sri Lanka committed in May 2022 (Record ID#98982).
