Project narrative

On October 11, a Chinese government expert group led by the Ministry of Emergency Management set off for Pakistan to carry out disaster assessment, flood prevention and disaster reduction guidance following the flooding that wrecked Pakistan between July and August 2022. The expert group consists of 11 members from the Ministry of Emergency Management, the Ministry of Water Resources, the China Meteorological Administration and other departments. The purpose of the group was specifically to help develop early warning systems and disaster prevention capacity building.
