Project narrative

On July 20, 2013, the Shandong Provincial People's Government donated a statue of Confucius to the Chinese-Icelandic Cultural Association (KIM) on the occasion of its 60th anniversary. The statue was made of a type of resin. The donation was entrusted to the Confucius Institute at the University of Iceland for safekeeping.
