Project narrative

On January 25, 2022, the Chinese Embassy in Cuba held a "Spring Festival Package" distribution ceremony for Chinese students and overseas Chinese in Cuba, which was attended by Ambassador to Cuba Ma Hui. The contents of the packages included anti-epidemic materials such as masks and disinfectant wipes, as well as Chinese New Year gifts like cooking oil and festive blind box gift bags. This project is part of a larger initiative by the Chinese Embassy to provide overseas Chinese with anti-epidemic supplies and gifts during Chinese New Year 2022.

Staff comments

1. Intent coded as mixed because the packages included anti-epidemic materials and Chinese New Year gifts. 2. The monetary value of donation is unknown.
