Project narrative

On December 27, 2022, the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture donated 1 million livestock vaccines to the Cambodian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries. The donation included 500,000 doses of a foot-and-mouth disease vaccine and 500,000 doses of an attenuated goat-pox vaccine for lumpy skin disease of cattle. The purpose of this donation was to protect lives of cattle and prevent infectious diseases among Cambodian livestock. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in Phnom Penh. China's Ambassador to Cambodia, Wang Wentian, and the Cambodian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Dith Tina, attended the ceremony.
