Project narrative

On November 9, 2022, the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) met with a representation of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC). During the meeting, the All-China Women's Federation pledged to donate face masks and medical materials to Cuba in December. On January 31, 2023, a handover ceremony was held in Havana, Cuba, for a donation of materials provided by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU) (recorded in Record ID#108600) and the All-China Women’s Federation (recorded in this project) to their Cuban counterparts. The donation included office supplies, epidemic prevention, and medical materials. According to Ambassador Ma Hui, the donation aimed to support Cuban mass organizations in improving their operational conditions and to contribute to Cuba’s epidemic prevention, control, and healthcare efforts.
