Project narrative

On January 28, 2022, the Chinese Government donated medicines to Cambodia. The donation includes batches of two drugs recommended by China’s national COVID-19 diagnosis and treatment guidelines - Lianhua Qingwen Capsules and Huashi Baidu Granules. The purpose of this donation was to improve Cambodia's COVID-19 response efforts. The amount of medicine donated and the monetary value of this donation are unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation at the Ministry of Health of Cambodia. Wang Wentian, the Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, He Nanhong, the Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia, and Meng Wenxing, the Cambodian Minister of Health, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.
