Project narrative

On or around March 22, 2020, COSCO Shipping committed to donating 975 protective overalls worth RMB 100,000 to San Martino Hospital to aid its COVID-19 pandemic response. The transport of the overalls from the factory to Shanghai to Milan and then to the hospital was implemented by COSCO Shipping's subsidiaries, including COSCO Shipping Lines, COSCO Shipping Logistics, and COSCO Shipping Europe, and all was completed within one week; the donation arrived on March 29, 2020. On April 1, 2020 COSCO Shipping Italy received a thank-you note from the president of the Liguria Region of Italy.
