Project narrative

On March 13, 2020, COSCO Shipping donated medical supplies worth RMB 450,000 to the Liguria Region of Italy to support its COVID-19 response. The supplies included 50,000 face masks and 200 protective suits. On the afternoon of March 13, 2020, the the supplies were delivered from COSCO Shipping headquarters to the Shanghai airport. On March 16, 2020 the flight carrying the supplies left for Italy. The supplies arrived at at Piazza De Ferrari in Liguria on March 19, 2020. The supplies would be transported to San Martino Hospital before being distributed to all hospitals in Liguria.
