Project narrative

On March 12, 2020, the municipal government of Yunfu donated 100,000 masks to its Italian sister city of Carrara to aid the fight against COVID-19. Yunfu raised the donation and sent a letter of sympathy after receiving a letter requesting assistance from Carrara's mayor on the 12th. The masks arrived in Carrara on March 21. Carrara expressed gratitude and stated that the masks would be distributed to the city's hospital and front-line essential workers.
