Project narrative

On May 5, 2022, the Chinese Consulate in Davao donated 2,000 backpacks filled with school supplies and candy to 150 students in Davao City, Philippines. Consul General Li Lin and Acting Mayor Sebastian Duterte distributed the school bags after the handover ceremony. Philippine Poverty Reduction Commissioner Roman Barolo, City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) Director Marisa Gallo, and more than 200 parents and students attended the event. The monetary value of the school bags is unknown.
