Project narrative

On August 25, 2022, the Consulate General in Davao and the Davao City Government held the launch ceremony for the Davao Aboriginal Women’s Handweaving Project. The program will provide 40 weavers with full-process support in training, production, supply, and marketing. The program is intended to alleviate poverty among indigenous communities in remote mountainous areas.
