Project narrative

On December 5, 2022, the Chinese Consulate in Davao donated 500 books to Cor Jesu College in Davao del Sur and set up a "Chinese Book Corner" in the college library. Li Lin, the Consul General in Davao, attended the handover ceremony of books and the launching ceremony of Chinese teaching in the school. At the launching ceremony of Chinese teaching at Cor Jesu College, Consul Li Lin presented the "Lecture Notes of General Secretary Xi Jinping's Important Essays on Education" to Dean Carlos Calado. The books donated cover topics such as President Xi Jinping's thoughts on state governance, Chinese traditional culture, and Chinese philosophy. The monetary value of the 500 books is unknown.
