In September 2018, the China National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) provided a £200,000 GBP grant to Jesus College Cambridge to fund the establishment of a UK-China Global Issues Dialogue Centre at the college. The purpose of the center is to "research projects and publishes findings on global issues."
