Full Description

Project narrative

On February 9 2022, the government of China donated 2160 tons of food aid to Ethiopia, where it was distributed among internally displaced persons in the Northern part of the country. This donation was made in response to a severe drought in parts of Ethiopia as well as an ongoing civil war. The northern Tigray region of Ethiopia, where the food was distributed, has been experiencing a civil conflict since 2020.
