Full Description

Project narrative

On April 18, 2022, the Chinese Embassy in Manila donated 200 tablet computers worth PHP 1,600,000 to seven primary schools in Balanga City in a handover ceremony attended by Ambassador Huang Xilian, Governor Garcia, Balanga City Mayor Garcia, and other dignitaries. The tablets were distributed to the following elementary schools: E. Bernabe Elementary School, Tanato Elementary School, Cabog-Cabog Elementary School, Tenejero Elementary School, Balanga Elementary School, Cataning Elementary School, and Cupang Elementary School. According to Mayor Garcia, during the pandemic, many local poor students were unable to receive remote education due to a lack of equipment. The 200 tablets are intended to address this problem.
