Project narrative

On December 8, 2022, the Chinese Embassy, along with Chinese enterprises, donated medical supplies to the China-Uganda Friendship Hospital. The purpose of the donation is to improve the hospital’s response efforts to COVID-19 and local Ebola outbreaks. The exact contents of the donation are unknown. The monetary value of the donation is also unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation. Jiang Jiqing, the Commercial Counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Uganda, and Emmanuel Tugaineyo, the Director of China-Uganda Friendship Hospital, attended the ceremony.
