Project narrative

Prior to March 28, 2020, Taiping Life Insurance donated 30,000 masks to La Liga soccer team FC Barcelona, for daily use by non-medical workers. Reportedly, FC Barcelona originally intended to distribute the masks to the homes of the elderly in Barcelona, but ending up donating the masks to the Catalan government's Ministry of Health on March 28 to aid their COVID-19 response. In February 2019, Taiping Life Insurance became the official regional insurance partner of FC Barcelona in China.
