Project narrative

On July 26, 2022, China offered scholarships to 24 students at Uganda's Makerere University. The scholarships, according to the university, are intended to help students who are economically underprivileged but are outstanding academically and of good character. The monetary value of these scholarships are unknown. A ceremony was held for the scholarship provision. Barnabas Nawangwe, Vice Chancellor of Makerere University, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.
