Project narrative

On April 1, 2015, the Shenzhen Municipal Government and the Christchurch City Council signed a cooperation agreement to increase cooperation in trade, investment and construction, science and technology, culture, tourism, education, and agriculture. As part of the agreement, Shenzhen agreed to provide a full-expenses scholarship for one Christchurch postgraduate student to study at Shenzhen University for one year. The scholarship is valued at RMB 45,000. Other details, including who received the scholarship and what it included, are unclear.
