Project narrative

On December 8, 2022, the Chinese Communications Construction Company donated 2,000 bin liners, 10 kg of powder chlorine, and 12 pairs of surgical gloves to the China-Uganda Friendship Hospital. The purpose of the donation is to improve the hospital’s response efforts to COVID-19 and local Ebola outbreaks. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation. Jiang Jiqing, the Commercial Counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Uganda, and Emmanuel Tugaineyo, the Director of China-Uganda Friendship Hospital, attended the ceremony.
