Full Description

Project narrative

On April 26, 2020, the Chinese city of Guangzhou donated 50,000 FFP2 masks to the Spanish city of Valencia to aid their COVID-19 response. The mayors of the two cities had been in contact in the weeks leading up to the donation arrival on the 26th. Valencian mayor Joan Ribó said the masks would be distributed to essential municipal services, and that he would video conference with Guangzhou mayor Wen Guohui in the days following the arrival of the donation. Guangzhou and Valencia are sister cities.
