Project narrative

On March 15, 2022, China donated medical supplies to Linden Hospital Complex in Guyana. The purpose of this donation was to contribute to the development of Linden’s medical response efforts. The exact contents and monetary value of the donation are unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation. Guo Haiyan, China’s Ambassador to Guyana, Hu Hanming, Economic & Commercial Counselor of the Embassy, Sukhna, Coordinator Foreign Medical Brigade of Ministry of Health of Guyana, Rudolph Small, Chief Executive Officer of LHC, Michelle Bollers, Administrator of LHC, and the members of the 17 Chinese medical team to Guyana also attended the ceremony.
