The monetary value of this training series is unknown. The training was given by the 17th Chinese medical team and doctors from Changzhou First People's Hospital. A total of 24 Guyanese doctors were trained in nephrology, pathology, obstetrics, gynecology, orthopedics and anesthesia. Training was provided through the combination of online and offline formats, and a combination of theory and practice. The training lasted 5 months and concluded on September 9, 2022. This training series is the result of a memorandum signed by China and Guyana for medical cooperation operations. Details on the memorandum are captured in Record ID#99963.
