Full Description

Project narrative

On November 29, 2022, the Chinese Embassy donated USD 200,000 to the Ministry of Health of Guyana. The purpose of the donation is to improve Guyana’s COVID-19 response and support the procurement of medical supplies to strengthen the country’s health sector. A handover ceremony was held for this donation at the Ministry of Health of Guyana. The cash grant was handed over to Health Minister Dr. Frank Anthony by China’s Ambassador to Guyana, Guo Haiyan.
