On May 9th, 2022, Chinese Ambassador to Gambia Ma Jianchun met with the Health Minister Ahmadou Lamin Samateh and signed the handover certificate for China's aid to the Gambia for medical devices and medicines. The exact quantity and cost of the donated materials is unknown.
