On September 22, 2011, the Bank of China (UK) Limited (BOC UK) issued a loan offer letter to Hilltop Investments Limited — an England and Wales-incorporated privately-held property investment company — for unspecified purposes. This loan carried a maturity period of 20 years and a final repayment date in 2031.
