Project narrative

On March 25, 2020, Hengyang City Government donated 120,800 masks to Guadalajara City, Spain to aid their COVID-19 response. Hengyang's Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government directed the The Foreign Affairs Office of the Municipal Party Committee to mobilize mask manufacturers in Hengyang City to make donations, collect the masks from the manufacturers, sort them, and ship them, all of which occurred in four days. A shipment ceremony was held on March 29. The following Hengyang City manufacturers participated in the donation: Agricultural Bank of China Hengyang Branch, Hunan Hongkun Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., Hunan Juxin Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., Hunan Sangzi Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., Hengyang County Kangkang Disinfection Co., Ltd., Hunan Shang Xin New Material Technology Co., Ltd., Hunan Shijia Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. Hengyang and Guadalajara are sister cities.
